WHEEL ALIGNMENTS

Why:

Incorrect alignment causes uneven, premature tyre wear, poor tracking (vehicle drifts), poor fuel economy and mechanical failures.

Action:

Vehicle is first inspected for mechanical defects, then placed on a wheel alignment computer, set up to the vehicles spec’s and various components are adjusted back to original specifications.

Interval:

10k or as tyre wear and ride indicate, or with new tyres.

BALANCE & ROTATION

Why:

Balancing compensates for incorrect weight distribution in the tyre or rim. Static imbalance causes a thud, Dynamic imbalance causes a shake (often felt through steering wheel). Imbalance is not only irritating but can cause car sickness and improper tyre wear.

Action:

Computerised balancing machines show the positions for adding weights to eliminate imbalance.

Interval:

With tyre changes, 10k tyre rotations or as required, (undertaken with platinum service).

Why:

Tyres are the second most important item on a vehicle. There are so many different types, sizes, performance levels for different applications and driving habits. It is important to get the right advice.

Action:

Call in and get your tyres’ pressures and alignment (visual) inspected regularly.
